PROBING RIG MSPT MODULAR
DESCRIPTION
The Modular MSPT dynamic probing rig is highly functional for geotechnical investigations and allows dynamic penetration tests to be performed.
The system is mounted on a rigid tubular steel frame that supports four cranked legs positioned at the corners to erect and level the unit.
The modular MSPT is powered by a hydraulic motor fed by a separate power pack. It can be used for soil bearing capacity tests, compaction tests, and soil sampling.
Dynamic probing tests can be conducted according to the DP-L, DP-M, DP-H, DP-SH standards, as well as SPT.
The adaptation for different drop weights is done by removing or adding weight bodies to the drop mechanism. The drop height can be adjusted between 500 mm and 750 mm via an adapter bracket.
The mobility of the antenna allows for easy soil sample collection, with its movements controlled hydraulically.
The modular MSPT can be considered a hybrid version between the Massenza Drilling Rigs MSPT Standard penetrometer and the Massenza Drilling Rigs Mi1 drilling rig.
It features a larger distributor and control unit than the MSPT model and has modular weights, reaching up to 63.5 kg.
The modular MSPT probing rig is the ideal choice for work in confined spaces, such as closed rooms, tight construction sites, mining pits, railways, slopes, and areas with limited access.
Motor: The distributor is always used as the connection between the structure/chain – extractor cylinder – hydraulic power pack.
