Training and commissioning of drilling rigs: Massenza’s added value for customer success

For this reason, our training and commissioning service for drilling rigs represents a key element of Massenza Rigs’ approach: not just supplying machinery, but providing a complete operational support pathway.
Our goal is to ensure that every drilling rig is installed, understood, and used safely, efficiently, and productively from day one.
Operational training and commissioning: much more than delivery
A concrete example of our approach is the training carried out in Colombia for the MM4 drilling rig, supplied to an important international client.
The activity was conducted in collaboration with our dealers PERFOMARKET GREEN SL (Massenza dealer in Spain) and CORE TECH COLOMBIA S.A.S. (Massenza dealer in Colombia). In March 2025, 18 specialized operators took part in a comprehensive training program for the purchased drilling rig, intended for soil investigation projects.
The program included:
- theoretical training on the MM4 drilling rig
- analysis of the user and maintenance manual
- spare parts and components management
- hands-on sessions directly on the drilling rig
After an initial theoretical phase, the technical team directly followed:
- rig positioning
- on-site operational setup
- drilling rig start-up
The objective was to ensure a smooth, safe, and controlled start of operations.
The operators’ satisfaction confirmed the value of structured, results-oriented training.
